New Thermal Arc Porta-Feed 17A Wire Feeder. This model has been used as a demo a couple of times, but it has not been used otherwise.   The Porta-Feed is a semiautomatic, variac controlled wire feeder capable of a 100% duty cycle.  This wire feeder only consists of electromechanical components which ensures lower operating costs, ease of use and repair, and improved reliability.  The Porta-Feed's polyehtylene case totally encloses the electromechanical components, welding wire, and wire drive system.  A hinged, latched door allows quick and easy access to the welding wire and feedhead assembly that features quick change feed rolls and a hand operated knob for clamping the welding gun into the feedhead.   Serial No: T01071101002 Spec No: 100012-001 Specifications:  Input Voltage - 120 VAC Input Frequency - 50/60 Hz Input Voltage Tolerance - +10% Maximum Input Current - 1.5 Amps Motor Voltage Range - 6-115 VDC Motor Current Range - 0.14 - 0.72 Amps Motor Gear Ratio - 30:1 Wire Speed Range - 30 - 650 IPM Wire Sizes - 0.024 - 5/64" Maximum Wire Spool Size - 12" Feed Rolls - 2 (Both Driven) Welding Current - 525 A @ X=60%                             - 450 A @ X=100% Welding Gun/Torch Size - 5/8" Nominal Maximum Shielding Gas Inlet Pressure - 100 PSI Weight - 28 lbs.  Local pickup for Denver area residents.
