No stir bar is included with this unit Description: This is a Thermolyne Cimarec 2 Stirrer S46725, 7" x 7" Surface, Tested in very good condition.  These are serial numbers 10719709227456 and 638910793224 (My number 6427) Cimarec magnetic stirrers are designed to provide stirring capability from 100 to 1000 RPM. Excellent speed control, especially at low speeds, is achieved by a unique system of eddy current braking. Maximum speed is dependent on the viscosity of the solution being stirred. Cimarec stirrers are equipped with a strong magnet and high torque motor which will draw a vortex in up to 1800 ml of water stirred in a 2 liter flask with a new 2" stir bar.
