Thermolyne Locator 8 Cryo Biological Storage System with Detection System Compact cryogenic storage systems feature durable construction and advanced vacuum insulation to minimize liquid nitrogen (LN2) evaporation for economical operation. Temperature uniformity assures that samples are stored at –180°C (–292°F) even when the vessel contains less than 5cm (2") of LN2. Vessels feature a secure locking clasp to prevent unauthorized access. Unique arrangement of numbered racks can be used with indexed boxes for tracking and easy sample retrieval. Racks accommodate 13.3x13.3cm (51/4x51/4") boxes, which are sold separately. Systems are suitable for manual and computerized inventory methods.
