Thirsty Stomach Pump Designed to administer oral fluids to large animals. The Thirsty pump does not have any ‘O' rings or felt washers to replace and comes with two adapters to allow connection of all sized funnel-style stomach tubes. Lightweight durable plastic, suitable for all weather. Administering oral fluids to large animals requires a reliable and fast acting stomach pump. Traditional metal stomach pumps have had two problems: 1. Required replacement of “O” rings or felt washers after use. These pumps will leak if the “O” rings or felt washers are worn. 2. Metal pumps have a stomach tube attachment that does not fit common stomach tubes with a funnel end fitting. The stomach tube needs to be held in place or trimmed to fit the pump’s attachment. The new JorVet lightweight stomach pump addresses these two issues: 1. No “O” rings or washers 2. The funnel end of the stomach tube snaps on tight to pump adaptors. The pump is very lightweight plastic, but durable, for all weather use. The “Thirsty” pump has a stroke volume of eight ounces. It will deliver fluid on both up and down strokes. The pump has two adaptors for stomach tube attachments. The smaller one attaches foal and small tubes and the larger adaptor is for medium and large stomach Stomach tubes Not included.
