This auction listing is for a Thomas & Betts T&B ABMK-1 Self Adjusting Wire Stripper. This stripper is of a unique design consisting of multiple thin cutting blades located in both the upper and lower jaw of the tool. These multiple blades cut through approximately 95% of the insulation thickness then the serrated jaws, with a backward motion, pull the insulation off the conductor without scoring or scratching. Because of this unique design multiple conductors can be simultaneously stripped and mid-span strips can also be made for tap offs. Examples of stripped wires are shown in the photos. The tool is adjustable for insulation thickness and there is a strip length stop that can be attached to the upper jaw for multiple same length stripping. This is a great little stripping tool.
