This eBay auction listing is for a Thomas & Betts T&B #GC-10 Quick Connect Ground Clamp. This unique clamp is used to make quick temporary ground connections as for static ground protection when unloading trucks, tank cars, etc. or for permanent and semi-permanent positive ground protection wherever needed. The tool has a quick release feature which is great when unloading movable containers/trucks etc. If the clamp is forgotten and not removed the quick release lever pops and the clamp falls off rather than being ripped or pulled off causing equipment damage or loss of the clamp. This tool is new never actually used but it has been demonstrated. The cable that is installed in the tool is for demonstration , to guide the user for proper cable installation. The T&B factory box is long gone but the tool has been protected in a heat sealed plastic bag.  Features: 1.      The jaws clamp to any object up 1 1/4 ” thick at the pressure pre-set on the tool without need for further adjustment. 2.      The High-Pressure clamping that is achieved penetrates rust and paint, ensuring a positive ground connection. 3.      Quick disconnect feature prevents damage if the cable and clamp are accidentally pulled. 4.      Ground cable range is substantial from #4 – 1/0 AWG Flexible CU Cables. 5.      Easy to use for anyone – simply place over the ground object and squeeze the handles.
