Thomson 931116 Optimum Growth 5L Flask with 0.2 um Vented Cap for Mammalian and Insect Cells Thomson's Optimum Growth 5 Liter Flasks (patented) give excellent growth with space saving capability. By using Optimum Growth (patented) 5 Liter Flasks users are able to grow 2.5L of Cell Culture versus the competitors max capacity of 1L. The Optimum Growth™ 5 Liter Flasks have replaced expensive, disposable, Fernbach flasks and also small Wave® Bags (5L & 10L). The Optimum Growth™ 5 Liter Flasks also give high viability cultures with a great use of space. The Transfer Cap (patented) allows for one to inoculate larger cultures directly from the Optimum Growth™ 5 Liter Flasks. Flasks for mammalian and insect cell growth with 0.2 µm vented cap Same footprint as standard 3 L Fernbach flask Suggested working volume is 2.5 L Transfer cap connects directly to Wave Bags™ and other bag manufacturers with 1/8” port Baffles designed for high aeration and low shear Individually packaged and sterilized The Optimum Growth™ Flasks provide excellent growth with space saving capability.
