The FUPA 12 Cup kit uses a #12 Flared Pyrex Cup, and it will fit a 9 series or 20 series torch. This kit is primarily designed for the fabricator who is working with exotic materials (4130 Tubing, Titanium, Stainless Steel) making critical welds. Excellent for roll cage work, aircraft work, exhaust headers, basically any weld application where gas coverage is critical. It also has the advantage of being clear, giving you great visibility. The cup is designed to fit on a standard 45V44 gas lens using the o-ring included with the kit. The kit includes 2 pyrex cups with the special screen, 1 spare screen, and 3 o-rings. You would provide your own 45V44 gas lens and 13N23 collet. The kit is designed for a 3/32" tungsten, but could also run a 1/16" tungsten. The FUPA 12 Cup Kit is designed primarily for DC welding under 175 amps. If welding with AC, we do not recommend going over 80 amps. Recommended flow rate is 20 to 30 CFH depending on tungsten stickout. The FUPA 12 Cup Kit fits all silicone rubber 9 series air cooled torches and 20 series water cooled torches. For example, this kit fits the Lincoln PTA-9 and PTW-20 torches, Miller Diamond Back DB-9 and DB-20 torches the Weldcraft WP-9, WP-9V and WP-20 series Tig torches. This does not fit torches which have hard plastic torch heads. The simple test - if your back cap is made of the same material as the torch head, then this will not fit your torch - generally Esab and Linde torches.
