We built this tiny house about 7 years ago and lived in it until last year. We refurbished it in the last 6 months and completely remodeled the bathroom. It is ready to live in and has a stand alone off-grid solar system. It has twin walk-in closets, a queen sized bed, and no loft to climb up into. The kitchen is full sized, as large or larger than some apartments I have lived in. It is all sheet metal, both framing and the outside sheathing. It is insulated with spray-in polyurethane foam, which is not only a very efficient insulation, but also seals up any air leaks and makes the roof quiet. We used it with a composting toilet, but it would be very easy to install the plumbing it would take to use a conventional flush toilet. The solar system is 2500w of panels, with an Outback Power Panel with a 3600w inverter. It is set up for a set of 8x 6v golf cart batteries. The sliding glass doors and all the windows are modern double pane low-E coated glass, and makes the inside bright and light. It has a propane fireplace for heating and a Rheem tankless water heater. It has a fully functional, powerful old Wedgewood stove, and a Sun Frost super insulated refrigerator. It has a bath tub and ceiling fans in the living room and bedroom. It has been a very comfortable place to live, it is well insulated and roomy enough for two to live. It is on wheels, so we have moved it to several different locations on the property, though it is so long that moving on the road would be a project. The solar has worked well, we can even run a couple of window AC units as long as the sun is shining. We always meant to install a split unit, but never go around to it. If you're far enough south, you could probably successfully run a heat pump in the winter. It can come with all the appliances that are in the pics, the solar system, or those can be removed for a lesser price. NOTE: Sale price includes delivery within 350 miles of Sacramento, Ca. Additional per-mile charge applies for farther away destinations. I will arrange delivery to your location, but note that the 54' length can be a problem for locations with limited access. Any special equipment or staff needed beyone me and a truck will be extra.
