The superiority of Titanium Grade 7 possesses excellent weld-ability and is the most resistant to corrosion of all titanium alloys. The addition of the element palladium makes it the most resistant to corrosion in reducing acids, high PH levels and low/high extremes in temperature. Palladium is a direct congener to Platinum, in chemistry, congeners are related chemical substances "related to each other by origin, structure, and function". These electrodes will significantly reduce the Oxidation Reduction Potential or ORP values in processing. This corrosion resistance is useful to boost antioxidants in oxidizing/reducing environments, protect against crevice erosion, oxidation of machinery and the longevity of production components. Other useful properties include optimum ductility, cold form-ability, useful strength, impact toughness and excellent weld-ability.
