Genuine U.S. Military Issue Surplus Todd Combustion Inc. - Atomizer Head Assembly for Boiler (?) - P/N: H3310 We think this head assembly is for a boiler, on a ship, but we are not positive. P/N: H3310 NSN: 4530-00-106-6391 The overall size of the head assembly is approximately 20 3/4" x 5 9/16" x 7 1/2" There are four spray nozzles. One nozzle is on the end of the barrel of the head assembly. The other three nozzles are in a row in the brass section of the head assembly. (See Pictures) The port on the end of the barrel of the head assembly is 1" Inner diameter. The three nozzles in the brass section of the head assembly are 1 1/8" Inner Diameter The length of the barrel from the brass section to the end of the nozzle of the head assembly is 13 3/8" The compression spring is approximately 5" long x 2 1/8" Outer Diameter The spring coil is 1/4" Diameter thick The barrel from the brass section to the welded on nozzle is approximately 9 1/4" x 1 5/8" Diameter On the barrel there are two collars and a compression spring. (See Pictures) The smaller sized collar has three allen screws spaced evenly apart around the collar to lock the collar down onto the barrel. (See Pictures) The larger collar is like a cap that covers over the end of the compression spring. (See Pictures) There is one mounting hole above the three nozzles of the brass section, it is 7/16" x 7/16" Inner Diameter (See Pictures) There is one mounting hole on the opposite side of the three nozzles of the brass section, it is 7/16" x 7/16" Inner Diameter (See Pictures) There are two mounting holes on the sides of the brass section for pins to be set in place, they are 9/16" x 5/8" Inner Diameter On the side of these mounting holes is a 3/16" Threaded Inner Diameter hole's to put a set screw in them to lock down the pins in place. (See Pictures) Behind the three nozzles of the brass section is a 9/16" wide 3/8" long x 1/4" deep slot. At the end of the slot there is a hole that is 3/8" deep by 9/16" Inner Diameter. The last 1/8" of depth tapers down to a point. It looks like to us (and we are just guessing) that it is a spot to tighten a bolt down to hole the head assembly in place. (See Pictures) The brass end over the steel barrel is approximately 3 1/8" Outer Diameter 2 3/8" Inner Diameter (See Pictures) There is a 5/16" wide x 3/16" deep groove near the end of the brass section that is over the steel barrel. (See Pictures) The barrel, collars and end bolt / cap are made of steel. The nozzle on the end of the barrel is made of steel. The one end section is made of brass The screws in the brass section are made of steel. The center prong of the three nozzles are made of steel also. We do not know what metal the nozzles are made of. The compression spring is non-magnetic and we do not know what it is made of. (See Pictures) Weight: 30.5 LBS. Similar to the one in the pictures. Unused! But there is a little rust on the barrel and the collars.
