The TOGGLER SNAPTOGGLE BE toggle anchor boasts a strong and reliable hold within hollow materials of various thicknesses, including gypsum board, drywall, and concrete block. Made in the USA, this anchor requires a 5/16"-18 UNC-threaded metal bolt, with a grip range of 3/8" to 2-1/2" and a minimum length equal to the thickness of the item being fastened, plus the thickness of the mounting material plus 1/2". The anchor channel remains stationary during installation and stays in place even when the bolt is removed. The SNAPTOGGLE anchor meets Federal Specification FF-B-588-D for Type V anchors. This corrosion-resistant zinc-plated steel anchor channel comes with plastic straps that position it in place and a plastic cap that locks the anchor channel securely in place behind the mounting material. Once the cap is in place, the straps can be easily snapped off by hand, and the item being fastened can be inserted into the drilled hole, through the anchoring channel, and tightened.
