CIRCA 1950'S " Soft cover booklet with photo illustrated front cover that also contains an index to contents. On the back cover is a list of Carborundum's district sales offices and warehouses.No date was found. Pre-zip codes. My best guess is the 1950's. Published, for distributors, by the Carborundum Company, Niagara Falls, New York. Twenty-four pages. From the introduction: "The purpose of this booklet is to assist you in obtaining maximum tool performance through a better understanding of abrasives and how they work. The techniques described are the result of broad experience of Carborundum engineers and represent the most advanced shop practices in use today." Information is presented through text, black & white photographs and drawings. Lots of diagrams, charts and tables, many to promote Carborundum products. The booklet is in good condition. Binding is tight. Modest wear to the covers.... both are lightly creased around the edges and at the corners.There is a label of a local distributor at the bottom of the front cover. Interior pages are clean and bright and free of marks or creases. Holes are punched at the left margin for easy insertion to a ringed binder. Original.
