Some specific information about the hive: 1.100% Cedar. Cedar is the perfect durable hive material. 2. No glue is used during construction in order to reduce any chemicals that the bees may come in contact with. Raw lumber only, no paint or stain. 3. All hive materials are provided in order to have a successful and functional beehive, these include: - 42" long hive body - Complete set of 30 top bars (20" long x 1 3/8 wide) with wedge comb guides. These guides help keep combs perfectly straight - 1 follower board- Bee entrance is 3/8 wide by 6" long. This size has been proven to be a perfect entrance size, large enough to let the drone bees pass through and small enough so that mice or any other intruders cannot enter. - Viewing window, so you can easily see the bees at work without disturbing them Hive stand will be thrown in for free because of the holidays.
