For working in confined spaces, the AT-B4 has a focusing range of 7.9 inches in front of the telescope, making it ideal for landscaping, fence building, pipe laying and more. With a magnetic dampened compensator, this survey and construction tool levels the line of site within the range of ?15 arc-minutes and an accuracy of 0.5 arc-second. This auto level allows you to use an optional diagonal eyepiece to facilitate work in extremely narrow areas. The fine horizontal knobs located on both sides of this Topcon auto level can be operated without clamping, speeding up aiming procedures to the staff and other objects. In addition to height and angle, distance to the staff can also be measured by simply reading the length of staff between two stadia lines and multiplying the value by 100. Horizontal angles can be directly read in degrees or gons with the readout window just located below the eyepiece. The horizontal circle is protected against dirt and scratch and features free rotation that enables you to read any angle from zero.
