NATIONAL INSTRUMENT SERVICE CORP is offering this Topcon KR-8000 Auto Kerato-Refractometer, Auto-Ref-Keratometer. Pictures shown in this auction are actual pictures of the unit. Unit was purchased from an ophthalmologist’s office in good working order. It was fully cleaned and checked for calibration. It is in great cosmetic and working condition. I did observe the following when turning it on: - unit turns on and screen goes on as well. There is NO flickering at all on the screen. - when moving anything in front of the camera the image is visible on the screen and very sharp so the camera and screen is working fine - unit is in a nice cosmetic condition - once the unit takes measurements and printer button is pressed printer works well and prints the full width of the paper (as seen on photo) - all of the buttons on the panel respond when pressed - when rotating the joystick the elevation of the upper head assembly is very smooth and works up and down - when machine is brought up to the patients eye, and centered, machine takes automatic readings - when tested against an artificial eye (as seen on last photo) machine takes very close reading to spec. Artificial eye does not come with this auction and is for illustration and test of unit only. There is no reserve. Please ask any question and I will try and answer them. Made in Japan.
