 The Torsion Balance Co RX-1 Scale w/ Two boxes of brass and metal counter weights An interesting find for the collector! This is a RX-1 balance scale in good condition. The balance mechanism and dials are working and can be centered / balanced to zero. Includes two boxes of balance weights, one from Ohaus and the other from Troemner. Here is a short description of each item: RX-1 Scale: -Some rust near hinges and scrape on left side down middle. -Chrome / metal has some light pitting. -Glass is excellent. Ohaus set: -Near complete, some tarnishing on brass which could be cleaned. -Missing #2 grain weight, tweezers, and numbers 5, 2, 2, and 1 of the fraction weights. Troemner Set: -Near complete, some tarnishing on brass which could be cleaned. -Missing 3 brass weights, circle weight, and numbers 10, 5, 2, 2, 1 of the fraction weights. These are extremely fragile items and will be packaged carefully. I can ship out most items the same day if Paypal payment is received before 4PM EST on weekdays!
