The pogo pin spring loaded touch holder for in-circuit programming of EEPROMs using Toyota / Lexus j-tag port. MADE IN USA. More details and product pictures at SpeedoFix.com Some Toyota and Lexus instrument clusters using the j-tag connector for read/write/verify EEPROM data. Using this tool is simplifying the way of dealing with this EEPROMs - no needs to disassemble the instrument cluster and remove the needles, no needs to clean EEPROM from strong glue and coating. It is a matter of 1 minute job to program such EEPROMs!!! For convenience the holder comes with DIP8 adapter to be used on any stand alone programmer with ZIF socket. The adapter is backward compatible with all Smelecom tools: USAprog, DSP3, Data Smart, VAGprog. Just position, press and hold the spear point over the EEPROM pins and read 93xx series SMD! No needs to clean the EEPROM from resign or other coating, the connection is always fast and steady. No mess left around EEPROM, the connection is invisible! Ground pin is marked with black tube.
