These are high-power, outdoor ready, VERY rugged and durable, and we've used them in many MANY projects with great success. You can mount these to any pole or post-- fences, flag poles, antenna masts and water pipes. We have used this model for years with excellent results. Yes they are only "G" instead of "N", but for most purposes, 54 Megabits is faster than the Internet connection anyway. This is a steal of a deal. * We've used pairs to bridge two networks/LANs together across roads, rivers and train tracks at 50+ megabits. * We've broadcast WiFi into a nearby park so we could enjoy working outside more than 200 feet from our offices. * We've installed them in large client warehouses and corporate campuses to provide unbroken Internet access throughout the entire facility. These units were purchased by a client for a major project and only some of them were used before the project was abandoned. All of the parts were removed from their original packaging and stored in large boxes in our client's warehouse. We have taken the parts from storage, assembled complete sets (see photos), reset back to manufacturer defaults, upgraded them to the latest firmware version (4.4.8 Build 130502 Rel.61441n) and verified the gain (24db). We include the following: (1) The main TP-Link TL-WA5210G unit, with BIOS upgraded, reset to manufacturer's defaults and ready to configure. (2) A 12V power supply (model may vary from what is in the photograph) (3) A Power-Over-Ethernet (PoE) injector. (model may vary from what is in the photograph, and may or may not have velcro on one side.) (4) An Ethernet patch cable (the color and length may vary from what is shown). (5) Two zip-ties for attaching this thing to a pole or something. No other items included. Documentation is available online, or you can contact us for limited support (i.e. we can't teach you how to network, but we can use our experience to help you overcome problems).
