The 100 Amp, 200 Amp and 400 Amp open transition switches are available in single phase in both service equipment rated and non-service equipment rated configurations. The 150 Amp and 300 Amp open transition switches are available in a service rated configuration only Features: 100 Amp through 200 Amp smart switches come with aluminum enclosures, 300 Amp and 400 Amp smart switches come with steel enclosures with electrostatically applied powder coat finishes. All enclosures in this series are NEMA 3R rated for outdoor or indoor installation. Featuring heavy duty Generac contactors which are UL recognized devices and designed for years of service. The controller at the generator handles all timing, sensing, exercising functions and transfer commands Digital Power Management (DPM): through the use of DPM, transfer switches in the series have the capability to manage two air conditioning loads with no additional hardware. When used in tandem with the Power Management Module (PMM) starter kit, individual PMMs can be used to intelligently manage up to four more additional loads This transfer switch can be operated manually without power applied How this transfer switch works: 1) by monitoring generator engine performanace, this transfer switch is able to identify when the generator approaches overload. At the appropriate time, this switch disconnects the highest electrical load being drawn; 2) After a 5 minute delay to allow appliances to reset, this transfer switch will reconnect loads with 30 a second delay in between. This is standard technology in all Generac smart switches and does not require any additional components unlike competitive transfer switches; 3) In addition, up to four more large 240V loads can be managed when this Smart Switch is used in conjunction with individual DLM modules. DLM modules are 50 Amps each and are housed in NEMA 3R enclosures, giving the installer the option to install them either at the electrical panel or anywhere in-line indoors or outdoors between the electrical panel and the appliance.
