Tray wrapper Solo Max 647, Autolabeler 706 w/317 printer Mettler film wrapping This is a high speed automatic wrap-weigh-label packaging system made by Mettler Toledo. The system consists of a Solo Max 647 tray wrapper and a Autolabeler 706 and thermal printer 317. System can wrap any size tray from 1S to 10x 14 family packs because it automatically senses incoming product size and makes adjustments accordingly resulting in zero down time when switching between products. After the tray is wrapped it moves onto the Autolabeler system which weighs and applies the price label. As can be seen in the video the machine was tested and it performed well. The test was perfomed with pallet stretch wrap and a box, instead of the proper stretch film just to show the basic functions of the machine working. The wrapper feed the box, sensed the size, adjusted accordingly and applied the stretch film. The box then is pushed onto the heated sealing table where it pauses before it passes onto the labeler machine. The labeler weighed the box accurately and applied a label by tamping it onto the box. The overall condition of these units are excellent. They were serviced by a Mettler technician right before we received them. The conveyor belts are in very good condition along with the clear plastic lids which shows only a minor scratches and two minor chips in the corners. The machines were obviously regularly cleaned and maintained. The only minor flaws worth mentioning are a missing cog belt on the exit conveyor and a few broken pusher feet, all of which are relatively inexpensive parts. The condition and proof of operating condition makes this wrapper a better choice to the competition.
