Developed by the renowned James Barry, who has over 25 years of experience in the diamond sharpening market, this diamond whetstone is perfect for sharpening tools to a razor-sharp edge in seconds with the right product and correct instruction. The Trend range has been the UK's number 1 seller of industrial diamond whetstones since 2001 and has won the "Excellence in Engineering" award in the UK in 2006. Parts of the Trend diamond whetstone range are used by British Aerospace, Rolls Royce, and The Royal Mint. The Trend Classic Professional Double-sided bench stone is a must-have for sharpening up to 3" plane irons and chisels. The unique clearance channels ensure faster, cleaner cuts and prevent snagging when sharpening small or pointed tooling. With a tolerance of +/- 0.0005 inch flatness, this bench stone comes complete with a pouch, cleaning block and non-slip mat. Use it to flatten chisels and plane blades and achieve a shaving edge in seconds, and even sharpen spindle knives in-house. The NEW and unique 8-Inch x 3-Inch classic precision workshop double-sided diamond bench stone comes with a fine 1000 grit (15 micron) and a coarse 300 grit (50 micron) for all your diamond sharpening needs. The diamond-shaped surface of this diamond whetstone is designed to produce fast and cleaner cuts, while preventing snagging when sharpening small or pointed tooling.
