Two layers of resin keep the abrasive grit firmly bonded to the backer for increased lifespan. It has a heavyweight polyester backing that resists tearing and fraying in use. An anti-clogging open coat reduces clogging and allows for faster stock removal, especially on gummy, resinous timbers, fillers and paint removal. It has a fibre-reinforced tape welded butt joint for maximum joint strength and it also ensures smooth bump-free sanding.
