This Tri-Arc Melt Furnace is gently used and in almost new condition.  This price also includes the Miller Gold Star 452 power supply base that it is mounted to.  Please see description below.   The TA-200 has three stingers instead of one, allowing for a bigger more homogeneous melt, and has a larger power supply. This arc melt furnace has a 2” (51mm) copper hearth with crucible which holds customer material. This system comes as a complete turn-key system and can reach temperatures above 3500C instantly. This system is ideal for college or R & D laboratory or for short-term crystal growing use. It comprises a competitive cost turn-key system with or without programmable crystal puller, evacuation/gas system, and 100% duty cycle power source. The TA-200 is easy to operate. Arc melt furnaces produce extremely pure melts, reach high temperatures instantaneously, and the TA-200 can be equipped with a variable speed crystal puller.
