This Professional unit was used to set up my home with CATV. It worked great but I don't need it anymore. It's a complete kit with a leather case for the unit which comes with a belt clip and a leather travel case. The manual is included on a CD ROM but you can look at it through this link: Trilithic Model One Manual Trilithic Model One CATV Signal Level Meter 5–870 MHz Standard Frequency Coverage Full Scan, Single Channel And Spectrum Modes Data Logging High-Resolution Display Rugged, Simple To Use, Cost-Effective   The Model One Signal Level Meter sets new standards for functionality and cost effectiveness, offering features previously available only in meters costing much more. Amplitude measurements are fast and efficient, with carrier amplitudes displayed singly, as a group of up to eight "favorites," or as a full-span display. The Model One also features a single-channel Spectrum Mode, which displays not only the carrier amplitudes but also the presence of any interfering beats. This signal level meter features direct power measurement of QAM signals, carrier-to-noise measurements, Data Logging and many other features at an unmatched price. The Model One is the ideal meter for HFC installations: durable, full-featured and simple to use in a wide range of conditions. The tough plastic shell and the protective vinyl glove supplied with every meter make the Model One highly resistant to damage from shock and impact. When not in use, the Model One and all its accessories can be zipped into the included padded vinyl carrying case. The Model One is as convenient to use as it is rugged. Weighing only 1.5 pounds, it is light enough to be carried and operated with one hand. Operation is straightforward and intuitive, with all measurement functions accessible by a single keystroke. A combination of dedicated function keys and "softkeys" makes all setup functions accessible with minimum button-pushing. Level Measurements The Model One can display single channels, "favorite" groups of channels, or all channel amplitudes at the press of a key. The channel plans used by these modes can be configured from the front panel or downloaded from a PC. When tuned to a single channel, the Model One displays bar graphs of visual and aural carriers, with numeric readouts of carrier amplitudes and V/A ratio. Then, with a single keystroke, the Model One displays the spectrum of the selected channel, showing the amplitudes of the visual and aural carriers, as well as any undesired signals that are present. Press the TILT key, and the Model One displays a graph showing the amplitudes of up to eight user-selected visual carriers. The display also shows the calculated difference in amplitude ("tilt") between the highest and lowest channels in the group. Press the TILT key a second time and the Model One displays a numeric list showing the amplitudes of the carriers in the group. In SCAN mode, the Model One displays the full span of visual carriers for a quick check of overall system flatness and amplitude. The meter can also be set to display both aural and visual carriers at reduced frequency spans. FCC amplitude limits can be imposed on the display, and a convenient frequency marker makes it easy to zoom in on any suspect channel. Digital Channel Measurement The Model One includes a special single-channel mode that measures the actual power of a QAM signal and displays the actual shape of the modulation "haystack". This feature, usually found only in premium meters, gives the operator a powerful tool for detecting in-channel unflatness or mismatches that might affect digital transmission quality. Printer Outputs The Model One can download records or the current display to a printer. This function can be used to provide an instant hardcopy of an installation or to document a problem. Data Logging Every Model One has the capacity to store the amplitudes of all visual and aural carriers. Up to 24 full data records can be captured in non-volatile memory and later uploaded to a PC for record-keeping purposes. Each record carries the time, date and the configuration of the meter when the record was captured. The operator may also add a comment or name of his choosing. Voltmeter Function The Model One is equipped with a built-in voltmeter, a useful aid in troubleshooting problems with power supplies or powered drops. The Model One displays the voltage as a bar graph, and can accommodate AC or DC voltages to 120 Volts. Unit Configuration Setup is easy: just connect the Model One to a PC running Model One Toolbox and download channel plans, bandwidth corrections and other key operating parameters. Or, use the Model One's own simple, intuitive menus to enter or modify setup data.   Specifications Frequency Range: 5 MHz to 870 MHz Tuning Resolution: 10 KHz LEVEL Mode: Signal Measurement Range: -25 dBmV to +60 dBmV Measurement Resolution: 0.1 dB Measurement Accuracy: LEVEL Mode: +/- 1.5 dB at 25 C SCAN Mode: +/- 2.0 dB at 25 C Variation with Temperature: +/- 2 dB from -10 C to +40 C TILT (Favorites) Mode: Number of Channels Displayed: up to eight, user-selected Data Display: bar graph or list of measured levels TILT Measurement: calculated as the difference in amplitude between the first and last carriers in the displayed group SCAN Mode: Channels Scanned: up to 140 Scanning Rate: 3 channels/second Displayed Amplitude Range: 80 dB, maximum Vertical Display 1, 2, 5, 10 dB/division Frequency Span: settable from approximately 100 MHz span to full span in 5 ranges SPECTRUM Mode: Displayed Amplitude Range: 80 dB, maximum Frequency Span: settable from 2 MHz to 50 MHz, in 5 steps or full span Amplitude Scale: 1, 2, 5, 10 dB/division CARRIER/NOISE Function: Measurement Range: up to 50 dB (with +25 dBmV signal) Measurement Accuracy: +/- 2 dB Measurement Resolution: 0.1 dB VOLTAGE MEASUREMENT Function: Input Range: 0–120 V, AC or DC Measurement Accuracy: +/- 1 V Measurement Resolution: 0.1 V LOAD (Data Logging) Function: Number of Records Retained: up to 24 PC Upload Interface: RS-232C Record Identification: record number, date and time Miscellaneous: Size: 21.8 cm X 9.5 cm X 4.9 cm Weight: 1.5 lbs.
