The equipment was all formerly used by the Alabama Department of Environmental Management in their field collection/operation duties within the state of Alabama. As you can see from the photos and moving right to left, there are: 4 psion organizer II's 4 GPS Pathfinder Basic +'s Trimble TDC1 1 PN 22850-10 receiver 3 "microtom rotary's" as described on the state property tag- 19 Trimble Juno handheld units - most of which appear only minimally used - some never removed from box except to tag 1 Geo XM pocket pc 3 Geo Explorer II's 1 Global Positioning System tagged with an aquisition cost of 74,383$! Lots of cordage, cases, instruction guides, etc . I obtained these items via auction as part of a large lot of other items. I obviously don't know much about the system but I can tell you that nothing I have ever bought from surplus was ever NOT working. The items look to be well kept and some look hardly used- the government probably just got something new! As I said earlier, aquisition tags show what each (a few stickers are missing) unit cost the state and the sums are 74,383, 2,939 x 3, 1,178, 2,790, 6,239, 629 x 18, 8,144.... and on. Since this system was a single system, I want to try and keep it all as one unit. Please ask any questions and I will do my best to answer it. UPDATE :Just confirmed with State that all this stuff was working - they just updated their programs. It was phased out due to software compatibility and age. It's still useful though, as even the juno handheld units go for 200-300 each right here on Ebay - there are 18 of those alone.
