This is the world's only portable, powerfree gelato/ice cream catering cabinet. It weighs only 25 pounds and does not use any electricity. It is the only unit that cools the product from the TOP down with dry ice. This cabinet has tripled my Catering business with my Gelato shop and lowered my labor costs. One girl can go set up and serve 500 people with this cabinet. Last year this cabinet generated $42,000 of catering of which $31,000 was pure profit. We have served in the middle of a golf course, indoors for 500 people, 4,000 servings over four days outdoors in the middle of summer, and numerous events where we just gave out samples. Dry ice is placed above the product and cold air drops down over the top of the product where it is most vulnerable, just like a gelato case does.The base is insulated so it can hold gelato or ice cream for hours. Four pounds of dry ice is usually enough for an event. 2. Why should I pay so much for something that doesn't have a motor? First, I made more money faster with this cabinet than I did with a $5,000 six pan 300 pound cabinet that had a motor. I have lower labor costs. I can do smaller events. I only need one person. I don't need a trailer or van. Second, I made over $30,000 in profits with this cabinet. It shouldn't matter whether it cost $500 or $2000. What matters is how much will it generate. What can I use it for? Gelato, ice cream, frozen yogurt, cold meats, sushi, salad. Anything you want to display and keep cold can be put in it. You can remove the front glass panel and it becomes a self serve unit. It has battery operated LED lights to illuminate the product. The base is made of durable plastic and is easily washable.
