Hi Folks! Up for your consideration is a working Triplett Model 4 Local Loop Tester. It is typically used as a piece of Telco test equipment. I have also used it as an audio signal generator to deliver a known voltage and frequency to a transmitter mike input, and to measure the output of various microphones. It’s also saved me in a number of instances where I needed to know the tone levels coming down a control line. I am selling it as I now have several of the Triplett manufactured Control Line Test sets (Motorola R-1034A). The unit is fully functional: Batteries check OK on the test scale. I have checked the audio generator through all the frequencies for output, checked the Ohms, DC, and AC settings, and they all work with reasonable accuracy. The unit is ex Pacific Bell. Has a plastic carrying handle, as well as a longer strap so you can hang it off your relay rack if needed. Exterior has dings and dirt, inside is fine. The test set is supplied with a used Bed of Nails tone output/volt ohmmeter set of leads, as well as a line jack. Please note that the line in cord has a four pin modular connector on it, and does not have leads. This is not your typical Ebay pig in a poke auction: The item leaves here working and has value. You get a three day inspection guarantee on the unit. If you’re not happy, I’ll return your money minus shipping. Check my feedback, and bid with confidence!
