Up for bid is a used Triplett Transistor Tester Model 690-A. The unit looks to be complete and is in nice overall working condition. The CAL. and GAIN buttons are the same but do not look original. The carrying handle has also been replace with a new leather handle. The unit has been modified to work with a homemade power unit, meaning - No More Batteries - which are hard to find and are expensive. Just plug the power unit in the wall 120V outlet and plug the output power cord in the tester, turn it on and your ready to go. Includes a set of test leads and COPY of the Instruction manual with schematic and parts list. I able to calibrate the unit as well are test a transistor with the built-in socket and test leads.  The unit has not been checked for accuracy. Do to the age of the unit - it is being sold AS-IS. I AM ALSO INCLUDING, AS A GIFT, A BRAND NEW - NEVER USED CEN-TECH 7 FUNCTION LCD MULTI-TESTER (SEE PHOTOS).
