Grundocrack has replaced more than all other systems combined. Pipe Bursting Capability Burst and replace 4-inch through 54-inch diameter water, sewer, gas and electrical lines. Failing pipe can be replaced with same size or larger diameter pipes. Pneumatic Pipe Bursting Overview A constant-tension Grundowinch guides the tool through failing pipe. The Grundocrack percussive action bursts the existing pipe. An expander displaces remaining fragments into the surrounding soil. New product pipe is simultaneously pulled in behind the Grundocrack bursting tool.
