The unit was re-calibrated after the following was competed: All the carbon comp resistors were changed and brought within 2% tolerance. Mix or metal oxide and carbon film where needed.   Checked all the resistor spools and brought back to 1% if were out of tolerance.  Upgraded the meter diodes and replaced meter capacitor.   All mica capacitors were changed with quality film caps within 2%.  New 8.5k adjustable resistor.  Changed the 83 tube to a regulated solid state replacement and has a balanced high testing 5y3.   Cleaned all controls including dismantling the bias pot to clean properly and made sure both half's were matched for resistance.  Changed the bias and fuse lights to the proper #49 and #81.   7 and 9 pin sockets changed.  All voltages were adjusted with the proper shunts on the meter and well within the military calibration specifications.
