This auction is for a new P-2 Quakekit from a company called 'Kinetics Noise Control'  The Seismic Cable Restraint kits are brand new and came from local electrical supplier than went out of business.  Each kit has two 15 foot 3mm Stainless Steel Wire Rope Cables rated at 1000 pounds as seen in the photos and includes additional hardware. These kits are very well made and clearly could be used in DIY projects, a few of these kits could be used to suspend a small automobile from the ceiling or maybe some DIY lighting or cable fencing.   Originally the kits were designed to secure plumbing with a two point connection.  Of course if you live in a state that requires these kits, it is your lucky day because they list retail at over $40 each.    What you seen in the pictures is what will be sent to you. "Seismic Cable Restraint Systems carry tension only loads along the axis of the cable. They are used in pairs 180-degrees apart to restrain pipe, duct, electrical distribution systems or equipment in each axis. Cable restraints provide a load path between the building and the restrained component to ensure that it moves with the building. Bracing is required on both primary axes for all restrained systems."
