Up for bid is an exquisite Olympia - a German company (just like the place BMW, Mercedes and Porsche come from :).  The unit is VERY clean, comes in a supportive case that has done it's job. This case looks rough but it has become so in the service of maintaining the quality of the typewriter inside - it's done it's job. If you do not mind the beat up case, the unit inside is in excellent shape. A new black ribbon has been installed for your convenience. My sense is if you have the time a round or two of black leather polish will give new life to this case. The quality of thes soft leather on this case is quite enviable. The zipper will need some treatment to make it flow smooth - wax or oil - not an expert. There is a hideen gem here for someone with the time to focus on it. Let’s  make this a positive transaction.
