Very Nice Brother EP-5 electronic typewriter with original box.  Even has the original strafoam packing. This typewriter has quiet no-strike technology, a calculator, international characters, and more features.  It bridges the technological gap of time between electric typewriters and word processors (which then led to personal computers).   Walmart price tag on the box says $99.83.  Should be also considered as a collectable. It runs with either an electric adapter (not included) or 5 "D" size batteries.  I do not have the AC adapter (uses an AC to 7.5v DC), so I used it with batteries.  I do not know how to test all functions but what I did test were good. It actually looks unused to me.  It has only some very light wear and aging, and overall looks very nice bright and shiny, like new.  I do not see any damage.  See all 8 photos for condition.  Box has a ripped top flap otherwise it looks real good. Box says they are a sponsor of the 1988 Olympics so that dates its age. I sell a wide variety of vintage and used items.  I am not an expert on this item.  It is in as found condition, except for a light cleaning, and will look even better if properly cleaned.  I will combine shipping whenever possible to reduce your postage costs.  Click on "View sellers other items " above for more home kitchen & deco stuff and other unusual stuff.
