Why spend $899 + Tax and installation for a new unit? Needs parts?, buy this! This is an under-cabinet icemaker. It simply plugs in, and does not need a drain line. Hook water up to it like an icemaker on a fridge. It has the same style icemaker as in an old fridge also. (Nothing fancy) Should be an easy fix for a repair man. I will say though, I think it works. I have not tested it with water hooked to it. I have however put a glass of water inside to watch it turn into a solid ice cube. So it gets cold with no problem. The previous owner replaced the one in the condo next to it last month. Then they only replaced this one because it wasn't making ice properly they said. I think they changed it so they would match and also not get a service call next season. I turned it on and can hear the compressor ect turn on, started feeling colder. It did not leak water. I am selling this THOUGH as NON WORKING FOR PARTS. Again repeat, this item did not ever leak. If it is something wrong probably just the pump or icemaker mech at most.
