This unit serves many purposes, including sterilizing beer, bottled water, cider, clinical lab samples, wine, soft drinks, sport drinks, food and beverage products, cosmetics, environmental analyses, industrial QC, water monitoring, and microbial monitoring. It employs four germicidal UV lamps to sterilize the funnels and bases by exposing them to high energy radiation. This product requires no containers. The Millipore Ultraviolet Sterilizer is a compact unit that accommodates three funnels and three bases, either PyrexВ® or HydrosolВ® Millipore filter holders. XX6370000 from Millipore, rapidly decontaminates 47 mm filter holders between sample filtrations. The U.V. Sterilizer, Cat. Laboratories that run successive sample filtrations appreciate this Ultraviolet Sterilizer's ability to prevent organisms from carrying over onto funnels used to filter samples of raw waters and high count liquids.
