                                                                                              Control the Flow Take your gravity style centrifuge and hook up the 1/3 hp motor with oberdorfer pump and connect that to the variable frequency drive. Not only do you not need to have your oil in the air gravity flowing but you can also control the oil flowing into your centrifuge. Flow rate is critical to cleaning your oil not just rpm. As you can see in the pictures we can run from one to the other drum while both drums are sitting on the ground. Not only easier but it gives you better control of your centrifuge. This motor/pump and variable frequency drive will work with all gravity style centrifuges. Watch our series on centrifuge for dummies, where we take the same oil and centrifuge it 4 times. Each time pulling more and more contaminants out of the oil.
