The Ultron Snap-Change Toolholder is designed for use with a Bridgeport or R8 spindle and is compatible with DA180 Erickson collets. This toolholder comes with 9 different collets, including sizes ranging from 1/16 to 3/4 inches. It's worth noting that the 3/4 collet may require some additional force when inserting an end mill due to deformation caused by over-tightening. However, it still functions properly. Please keep in mind that the photographs of this toolholder don't currently display the collet nut used to hold the collets in place. However, a new nut has been ordered and is expected to arrive on Thursday, Aug. 20, which will enhance the condition of the toolholder. Additionally, the 3 smallest collets have been recently purchased and are like new, while the other collets are in excellent condition (with the exception of the 3/4 collet). The Ultron Snap-Change System is considered one of the best quick-change systems for Bridgeport Mills. A skilled operator can swap out tools in just two seconds, and the system provides repeatedly high levels of concentricity.
