Unfinished Shop Made 1.5k Coffee roaster Stainless Steel 10.5" L x 8.6" OD Drum. Stainless Steel Shaft, High Temperature Bearings. 63 RPM 24v DC Continous Gearmotor with 120v to 24v DC Power supply. And include 24v DC Blower (not shown) with speed control. Both gearmotor and blower are HEAVY DUTY MOTORS, 100% torque at any speed and can be speed controlled by a $16 controller (vs. high dollar three phase AC) This was a project with many $$$$ invested. Stainless fins are welded inside drum, stainless 1/8th inch holes in back of drum. 1" Square tube frame (14"x14") you will see a steel cowling over drum, ready to bolt over, then you would add insulation and cover with thinner metal for outside. The door was temporary, but has spring bolts and bolt handle. Odds are it weighs 80lbs+ Will add more details, somehow add more photos Monday eve, if not sold. This roaster is about 80% completed. If a buyer pays fair price, will include four "Mushroom" propane burners (just like the Mill City North 1k). Also, more metal and other parts will be included. To ship not by freight, would be in two, possibly three boxes and cost about $150 more or less. Updated details via message. Yes, can pick up local (Western North Carolina). WILL NOT SELL OFF Ebay, so please do not ask. Would like to sell to someone who has the skills to complete and the LOVE of coffee roasting. PS/NOTE: There is a ring that is welded to keep beans from getting loose, there one "hot spot" where drum slightly rubs, so, a grinder to grind off spot welds and hammer to slightly move/bend this ring, will end the rubbing (you can see how close in one of the above photos. Priced to sell, but does not reflect cost of machine shop fees or even the cost of SS drum, fabrication of fins or gearmotor, SS shaft or bearings. This takes a would-be coffee roaster builder 80% of the way and with right skills, will have something comparable to a 1.5k kilo gas roaster. USA ONLY, NO PR, ALASKA or California/Washington State, unless additional shipping costs. Will consider offers, but this price is about 1/3rd of investment (or anyones), but if agreed, must pay right away, so don't have to relist.
