I don't know how to test this unit really, but I can say when powered the fans run and the lights come on. When changing some settings the frequency numbers change on the display. I would guess it's good. This came from a government surplus sale quite a few years ago and made it to the home of a hobbyist who never had time to really go through it all and now he's forced to move across the country with little space so it's all being listed. I believe most all of it was considered outdated and that's why it was removed as the man that is selling it all says the pieces he tested years ago worked fine for him. However know that what you're buying is sold as-is for parts due to it's age. If I have a power adapter that fits it, I will power it and post if it has any sign of life. There's a good chance this is some nice stuff as to where it came from. In this lot of stuff that I will be selling, there will be some bargains for those of you knowing what you're looking at. I really don't know anything about most all of it.
