This is a new permanent magnet variable speed control motor. The motor is 120 Volts dc with a built-in bridge rectifier to operate on 120 Volts AC. This is a custom  modified to fit UNIMAT- SL1000 / DB200 lathes. The on-off switch is easy and convenient to reach and use. It is much safer than the Unimat switch. The motor is ready to bolt on existing UNIMAT mounting bracket. The installation takes about less than 10 minutes. Motor comes with a new pulley. Variable speed control gives you better results and longer tool bit life. Variable speed control lets you run your lathe at its full single speed  and  variable speed (HIGH ,MEDIUM, LOW). VOLTAGE: 120 AC POWER : 0.115 (1/9) HP DUTY : INTERMITTENT SPEED: 3620 RPM AMPERAGE: 1.5 AMPS (180 WATT) [About 80-90% more power then original U90 motor (95watt)] BEARING: BALL BEARINGS ROTATION: CW 3 WAY ROCKER SWITCH: FULL /OFF/ VARIABLE VARIABLE SPEED: DIAL CONTROLS (HIGH , MEDIUM , LOW)
