This auction is for one Millifiori & Paisley Desk Ornament Pencil Holder Made from Polymere Clay and Glass I am the artist for this item. The colors are green, red, white, brown and blue. Actual colors may differ somewhat from the listed photos. This pencil holder is made from polymere clay on a can to make a desk ornament. The canes form a repeating pattern that continues all over the peice. The vase is for decorative purposes and is not meant to be used for food. It is not dishwasher safe and should not be exposed to temperatures below 40 degrees or above 90 degrees, particularly the direct line of sunlight. Continued exposure to extreme elements will cause the clay to expand and contract and in some cases cause a crack in the clay. Should your vase develop a crack, squirt a line of super glue along the crack and press down on the area for a moment. Rub the excess glue off the vase before it dries. This will repair any crack. In order to avoid any cracking, I display my jars and vases in our North and West windows for three out of four seasons. Winter in Massachusetts can get chilly, even at the window sills, so I remove the vases from the sills during the colder months. They can be safely displayed on a shelf or on a plant stand anywhere in the house where the temperature is regulated. Your jar can be used for fresh flowers if you are careful about adding and discarding the water from the peice. Never put it under running water. Clean the inside with a wet, soapy sponge or paper towel, rinse will and dust the outside. I do not recommend using one of these jars for potting a plant, although some of my clients have done so. Plant cuttings or a dry boquet are recommended. Stretch your imagination for uses for these beautiful vases. The vase measures 4" high and 9.5" around. Your item will be shipped within 1 business day of receiving payment via USPS or UPS Mail. We use Paypal exclusively and expect your payment within three business days of purchase, unless we have agreed upon another arrangement. Should you decide to back out of our sale please contact me so we can end the transaction without opening a case. Without your agreement to end the sale I cannot be refunded the fees ebay charges me unless I open a case. It is much easier and leaves no negative marks against you to just talk with me on these occasions. Although cancelling a sale hurts my record with ebay, I am willing to do so if you need me to. Please do your part. A note about shipping charges: Please understand that sellers are charged a fee based upon the cost of the shipping, even if you pay for the shipping, from both Paypal and eBay which adds up to 14% of the total shipping cost. This fee, packaging, office supplies for labels and such, as well as gas to the post are all part of your shipping fees. Fortunately, I only add a small charge to your actual shipping cost. Unless otherwise stated, I will never charge more a couple of dollars, for your handling. This charge is added in to your shipping. My costs are lower than average and I pass this savings along to you. If your shipping seems high it is usually because the size of the item. Anything over 13 ounces almost triples in shipping cost. In those cases we have no choice but to charge what is required from us. International shipping can be very high. When buying multiple items please place them in your cart before purchase and I will be sure to the combine the shipping. Please send me a message requesting combined shipping when purchasing several items at differing times or bidding on other items. Don't pay until all your items end. I will add a dollar per item to the combined shipping cost. International buyers: Free shipping never applies to international buyers. Please note that ebay does not allow sellers to see the rates that you are charged. We can only put the information into the program and count on the description to let you know your shipping costs. I cannot quote you rates. Sellers are also limited regarding the types of shipping available. Priority mail may seem very high to you but the other choice, Worldwide Saver, is at least twice what Priority Mail costs.
