Steel 12" x 7 1/2" x 2" Commercial Grade Plug In Style EXIT Sign This is a heavy duty EXIT sign made of sturdy steel and painted white. Both front and back are slide out panels. The red slides out too. It's made of a tough thick textured translucent plastic. All the other EXIT signs I've seen require you to do a little wiring. This one is ready to just plug into any wall socket. The cord is almost 12 feet long so it will likely reach an outlet without an extension cord. The sign requires a couple of the long thin incandescent bulbs (not included) you can pick up at most any hardware store. There are arrow knockouts on both sides of the word EXIT so you can choose the direction it points. There are a number of holes and/or knockouts that can be used to mount the sign wherever you choose. There is no side panel on the side where the front and back panels slide out. I forget where I got this and I don't know if there ever was one or if this is just how it's made. This sign has not been used but my guess is that it's missing.
