Additional features include a stainless steel removable mixing vessel with a flat bottom that includes a 2" flush tank ball valve with 2" NPT threaded outlet connection. The unit also has a 15 PSIG stainless steel jacket on the sides and bottom for heating and cooling, a thermowell in the mixing vessel side with temperature probe, two fixed and two swivel caster wheels, and a stainless steel handle attached to the front exterior of the mixing vessel. The vacuum pump is mounted inside the mixer enclosure. This Double Planetary Vacuum Mixer is a high-capacity unit with a maximum recommended working capacity of 100 gallons and a full holding capacity of 115 gallons. It features a removable-vessel design that allows for use with multiple mixing vessels. All product contact parts, including agitators and the inside of the vessel and vacuum hood, are made of type 304 stainless steel polished to a 150 grit finish. The unit is designed for vacuum operation to 29.5" HG. The stand-alone control panel is mounted in a painted steel dust-proof enclosure and includes one 15 HP variable frequency drive (VFD) internally mounted. This Double Planetary Vacuum Mixer is subject to prior sale or disposition and written confirmation by Perry Videx LLC prior to acceptance of order. Equipment from our Hainesport facility is sold loaded to flat bed truck unless otherwise stated. Skidding is available at an additional charge. The mixing system includes two rectangular planetary blades and a sidewall scraper arm, making it ideal for mixing high viscosity formulations. The variable speed planetary stirrers are driven by a 22 KW (30 HP), explosion-proof motor suitable for 3 phase, 50 Hz, 380-volt input, with an orbital speed range of 8 to 30 RPM and stirrer blades on their own axes between 9 and 34 RPM. Variable speed is accomplished through the use of an AC variable frequency inverter drive located in the control enclosure.
