These are in great condition, and would complement your Camillus Electrician 's knife (tl-29) very well! Everything is in perfect working order, no damage to the "blades", still tight and solid all the way around. Sure, it's got a few small bumps here and there, and what looks like a little hiccup during the drop forge process (see pics) but heck every one of the old school drop forged tools that I've seen have the same thing somewhere. A little but of patina, but surely nothing to worry about. I took several pics so let those be a part of the description as well. I did a little digging around and found this info from the 'net: Fig. 37 shows a later pair of Utica 1950-6 heavy-duty lineman's pliers, marked "Utica 1950-6" and "Utica N.Y. U.S.A." around the pivot, and with "TL-13-A" stamped on the reverse. The overall length is 6.3 inches, and the finish is black oxide. According to one of our readers, the "TL-13-A" marking is a model number for the U.S. Signal Corps, indicating that these pliers were made for a military contract. This suggests that there may be other TL-series numbers, and we'll try to locate additional information on this. A close look at the cutter jaws shows two nicely rounded holes, designed for stripping wire of the more commonly used gauges. Here's a chance to give your ol' Electrician's knife a good mate.
