This is a new, never used, 80ft mobile/ portable lattice communications/ telecom/ surveillance tower manufactured by US Tower with rapid deploy guy kit, tension indicators and torque arm.The tower was purchased and delivered in May 2013, the one year manufacturer warranty has expired. The guy wires and tension indicators were updated by mfg and installed in 2014. Never been used, and has only been housed indoors in a temperature controlled warehouse. The only time it has been brought outside was to move from one warehouse bay to another. ***Pictures (2) of the tower erected and outdoors are for reference only, that was not this specific tower and the generator, sensors are not included.*** Knack boxes include all the items photographed with purchase. Model is active and retails for $126,500.51 on GSA Advantage. Everything on this tower is in new working condition. On site pickup is required. Due to the size of this item, shipping is not an option without costly crating/ freight charges. Local pickup is preferred and tower can be towed by a truck. Delivery is not out of the question but labor, fuel, travel expenses would be arranged before purchase between buyer and seller. Tower is constructed of steel lattice and consists of 5 telescoping sections. Trailer frame is made of steel tubular and angle members welded and hop dip galvanized to maximize environmental exposure. No need to earth anchoring with the guy to outrigger design that is rapidly deploy-able. Trailer jacks for stabilization. Tires and wheels are off road (HMMWV). Designed for tactical environments. Rapid deploy Guy system reduces the deployment time up to 60% compared to conventional guy kits. It is re-deployable and can be used multiple times. Made of light weight aluminum, and come-along tension cables to reduce kinking and maximize tension. Guy cables are equiped with ball connectors allowing rapid attachment to come-alongs and are easily adjusted in sloping terrain. Fully operational main lift cable tension sensing mechanism included. (See gray electrical box in photo). System warns to adjust and or prevents unsafe operation in the event of main lift cable over or under-tension resulting from operator errors with an audio alarm and indicator warning lights. Operation: Tow-able to any location on rough terrain, once disconnected has trailer jacks for stabilization and adjustable outriggers can be used to level the tower on slopes up to 4 degrees. Install payload and guy cables to tilt tower to vertical. The tower is tilted by a self-contained hydraulic system and actuators. Once vertical, the tower can be erected to full operational height. Lift system elevates teh tower by an electronically operated winch drive. As the second most section extends, the upper section simultaneously extends by means of extension cables. Guy cables are then attached to outriggers and tensioned, tension indicators and "come-along" type wenches are provided to eliminate time consumption.
