USA/EU Leitz Laborlux LED Illuminator Cool White Dimmer Control/Power Supply USA/EU Leitz Laborlux LED Illuminator Retrofit Cool White Dimmer Control/Power Supplyfor United States(115V/US Plug) or Europe Union (220V/EU Plug) -your choice. This device will be mounted using the existing threaded M4 holes from the base of the scope – please see the attached pictures. Designed to replace the entire existing under stage illumination system of a Leitz microscope. Mounting screws are included. Compatible with Leitz Laborlux microscopes built in 70’s years and after – only units with out back illuminator, this scopes feature a gray/white color – will not work with earlier black enamel color Leitz microscopes. (Your Leitz microscope must look similar with the microscope shown in the first picture) In order to dissipate the heat generated by the powerful 10W LED bulb the illuminator body is built entirely from aluminum and stainless steel – No thermic bridge via plastic/resin parts. An opacity filter is part of the assembly. Included in this auction: - Microscope illuminator ( 10W LED 800 Lumen w/50000 hour of usage) Cool White light with a body built entirely built from aluminum and stainless steel.(except the opacity filter) - 12V Power supply adapter (USA or EU- please select) - Dimmer Controller. - Power Cable - Mounting screws M4 matching the existing threaded holes in the base of the microscope. Mounting time – less than 5 minutes. This item is complete all you need is to plug it in a 115V(USA) or 220V(EU and others) power source. Important: At the end of the auction please tell us your selection (USA or EU) . Default 115V –US plug. The microscope shown in the attached pictures is not included. Note: Prototypes made initial for a local organization in an action to retrofit their older microscope inventory. The initial design feature a 5W LED bulb. Since our clients requested many times to increase the power of the bulb we substituted the old 5W LED with a 10W LED and we added a strong opacity filter. You WILL NOT use the entire power of the bulb except very special applications, normal applications will be limited to 5W – 6W maximum power.
