This auction is for a Used Amano TIME CLOCK BX6000 Series Model BX-6401 Time Recorder. #2. I am selling another on just like this, but other one is on time. This item looks to be working okay (about 10 minutes off), but I have never had one before, so will let you know what I did. When clock was plugged in, the hands on the clock went straight up to 12:00, then a second or so later went to 14:16. When I went to look at what time it was on our clock, it was 14:26 (2:26) on our computer. Don't know why, but is 10 minutes off (bar clock?). There is a digital readout and an arrow with a 6 under it (today's date, 1/6/2015) and it was pointing to TU, which today is Tuesday. The red light on top was indicating OUT, or when you punched out. This had a big piece of cellophane tape over it. After it was plugged in for a couple minutes, I cut a piece of plain paper about the size of the slot in the top (has a flap over it, just flip flap over and insert card), pulled back the tape, stuck it in the slot, and it fed the piece of paper into it and punched out TU 14:18 on the paper (see last photo, synced up with digital readout, which said 14:18 - few minutes from originally plugging in). Might be a little light, so will probably need a new ribbon soon. I unplugged it and it didn't keep running like the other unit I am selling, which might be why it is 10 minutes off? Battery inside is bad. This unit stayed on for a couple seconds after unplugging, then turned off. Battery hatched. Other unit stayed running after being unplugged for about 20 minutes, after having been plugged in for only a couple minutes, giving the backup battery a chance to charge up a little. There is a key slot on the side of the unit, but it didn't come with a key, so will have to find one or replace lock. I have seen where there are certain keys for sale on Ebay for some Amano models. Might find one there, unless you have one. The unit is dirty and scuffed, but seems to work somewhat. Will need to clean up when you get it, unless you don't really care what it looks like. Am selling as a parts/repair unit, since I don't know if this is working correctly or not. Might be fine with adjustment and new battery, might not be. Nice for parts too. Thanks for your time. Will run auction for 7 days and if it doesn't sell, will increase price and send to storefront. Buyer pays shipping cost, please see shipping statement before making any payment, thanks!

Seller Notes Item has been previously used and needs cleaning. Has dirt/black scuff marks on case, etc. Looks ugly, and kind of works. No key.
