USED EMESCO JACKRABBIT HANDPIECE SYSTEM click picture to enlarge This listing is for a used Emesco Jackrabbit Handpiece System including HP Engine, Foot Control, 3 articulating arms with belting, and Chayes Handpiece. The Emesco Engine, Product Code No. 90N is serial number 79, rated 110 volts AC single phase-DC, 1.8 amps, 1/8 hp, and it working fine with a very good engine belt specific for the whole system. The arms are the Emesco 3 sections of articulating arms: first one from the engine is on 11-1/2 inches centerline, second one up is on 10 inches centerline, and the final one to the handpiece connecting linkage is on a 7 inches centerline. The foot control is the Emesco Controller No. 9B. This controller is 6 inches in diameter with maximum depth of 9 inches including controller slide pedal (see picture) and cord ends and 2-1/2 inches in total height. Emesco Dental Co. of New York, USA is the manufacturer. The engine is UL Listed for electrical safety. The engine has a top-of-the-base-mounted two-position toggle switch for forward/reverse setting of handpiece rotation. The overall envelope of the engine chassis is 7-1/2 inches in length by 5-1/2 inches wide by 7 inches in height including the fitting that takes the arming connection. The Chayes M-2 handpiece is serial number 880H0, made in the USA (see pictures). Everything here has been checked out in our dental lab and it is working fine. Condition is good, with evidence of use as reflected in the pictures. AC power cording is included, 6 feet long into the foot controller with standard USA 3-prong plug end, and 8 feet of AC cord connecting the foot controller to the engine. Everything here weighs 23 pounds shipping weight and will come in a shipping box approximately 19 inches by 18 inches by 14 inches. There is no manual nor original box for this system.
