USED HOFFMAN JEL-1 STEAMER FOR BENCHTOP USE W/PIPE NOZZLE STEAM DISPENSING BY MANUAL VALVE - WORKING FINE click picture to enlarge This is a used Hoffman/New Yorker Inc. Steamer, Model JEL-1, serial number 11188, rated 120 VAC, single phase, 60 hertz, 1500 watts, working pressure 75 psi, National Board No. 10195. The steamer was manufactured in July, 1995 in the USA. We have completely refurbished it and it is operating fine in all respects including fittings and gauges. This unit dispenses steam through a nozzle mounted on a pipe arm (see in the picture for the nature of this) making it suitable for typical benchtop use. The unit includes a sight glass gauge with valves for seeing the water level. Electrical safeties are working, checked by our lab. Other fittings are as shown including drains, pressure relief, manual fill, pressure gauge, and manual steam shutoff valve. The unit is UL Listed for safety as an Electric Steam Generator. Body is stainless steel, rests of the metal is iron. Tank measured capacity is 6 gallons. Overall the unit is 18 inches wide by 16-1/2 inches deep including fittings by 24-1/2 inches tall including fittings. The unit weighs 75 pounds shipping weight. The on-off control of steam from the nozzle is manual valve means only, no foot control. The unit has a 6 foot AC power cord with standard American 3-prong plug end.
